Ryan Carroll and Eric Block have been busily working in the studio on new recordings for their new band Ten Million Lights and are excited to announce that it is finished and being released on 10/12/10.  It will contain eight new songs led off by new single “Kill Yr Idols”.

Ryan and Eric are joined by newcomer Emily Logan who adds vocals and guitar to all the tracks and rounds out their sound quite nicely.  For all you Saturna fans, you will notice that Ten Million Lights is very reminiscent of the sound you love.  How could it not, being that Ryan is singing and Eric is playing guitar.  Just add some female vocals and you get gorgeous harmonies and familiar melodies.

Saturna is thrilled to have been featured in Canadian indie film, The High Cost of Living starring Zach Braff (Scrubs, Garden State), and Isabelle Blais, and directed by Deborah Chow.   Saturna song Pop Rocks was used in the film that premiered at Toronto’s International Film Festival.  Not only was it amazing for the film to have been included in the film festival, but Deborah Chow collected the prestigious Skyy Vodka Award for Best Canadian First Feature Film.

The High Cost of Living was picked up by Tribeca Film and can now be purchased on DVD at Amazon.com
